Position Overview: We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Beertender to join our team at Public Offering Brewing Co in Denver, CO. We are a small team that strives to be a neighborhood brewery and taproom for the surrounding areas in the fast growing area off South Broadway. The Beertender will be a key part of our taproom experience, responsible for serving our craft beers, engaging with customers, and ensuring they have a memorable visit. While prior brewery experience isn’t required, a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and an eagerness to learn are essential.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and interact with customers in a warm and professional manner, contributing to the inviting atmosphere of the taproom.

Provide customers with information about our selection of craft beers, helping them make choices based on their preferences.

Pour and serve various craft beers, focusing on proper glassware and presentation.

Keep the taproom clean, organized, and inviting by maintaining the bar area, tables, seating, bathrooms, floors, patio, and all areas of the Front of House.

Handle customer transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system.

Assist in restocking beer inventory as needed to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Share basic information about different beer styles and flavors to enhance customer appreciation.

Adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines and prioritize customer safety and well-being.

Collaborate with the team to communicate customer feedback and insights.

Participate in brewery events, promotions, and special releases as required.

Be comfortable with working and closing the taproom at night by yourself.

Qualifications:

Prior experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.

A positive and approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Must meet the legal drinking age requirement.

Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Comfortable standing for extended periods

Willingness to work in a brewery setting, including exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
